I am delighted to share that our latest research paper has been accepted for publication in the Journal of Sustainable Metallurgy.

This study offers a clear and approachable understanding of how slag composition influences the formation of different phases, which in turn affects the efficiency of CO₂ mineralization. It provides valuable new insights for designing steelmaking slags that are better at sequestering carbon.

👉 What makes this work truly exciting is that Jaehoon Park, my talented PhD student, led the way and was at the heart of it all, playing a key role in:
Conceptualizing and executing the study
Conducting detailed phase and kinetic analyses
Leading the writing of the original manuscript

His dedication and scientific rigor are truly admirable, and this achievement beautifully showcases his talent and perseverance.
